Project:
"The Star Wars Show" is an internet video series, made & hosted by Lucasfilm. It covers virtually every "Star Wars" topic; from breaking news about the films, to behind-the-scenes exclusives. Each week the show hosts news, a field segment, and a celebrity guest interview. The target audience is teen & young adult casual fans, who are active on social media and interested in learning more about the franchise.
Approach:
"The Star Wars Show" branding needed to convey vivacity, passion, and excitement while still maintaining that iconic "Star Wars" feeling. It also needed to attract the attention of the target audience as they scroll through their social media feeds. By using bright colors and strong diagonal shapes, the branding becomes easily identifiable, and expresses the friendly, energetic, and nostalgic tone of the show.
